Why the hell did I believe that?

Took me for granted,

Never realizing all you had and all you would be letting go of.

And you took too long,

Slipping through your fingers,

And now I am gone.

You don't know what to do.

If only you knew right from wrong,

I'd be back within the safety of your arms.

And you're hoping that I'll call you back,

hoping maybe I'll forget the past.

But darling, I can never forget your lies,

Trying to be this tough, emotionless guy.

Well now I'll never be what you have again.
